These are exciting times. In a few days, I'll be bringing two new series of paintings for a new exhibit at the Da Artisti Gallery. There are no words to describe how honoured I feel at being invited to be the feature artist.
The first series of paintings represents fruits and vegetables that end up in our kitchen. During our daily activities, we may not take a lot of time to observe the fruits and vegetables that we pick up at the grocer or market. Paintings force us to admire their structure, shapes and colours.
The second series contains bright coloured candies with crystal containers. Unlike fruits and vegetables, as children, we probably all admired the bright colours of candy. As adults, seeing candies probably brings back cheerful memories.

Today I will complete the following painting that will be on display. Then it's packing time for tomorrow's drop off.
