Normally I am able to complete a painting within a week. Would you believe that I worked on this one for 3 weeks. I wish I would have kept track of the amount of hours. There are 35 partial and full hot air balloons in this large (36" X 24") painting. I'm still working on some of the details and I hope I will be able to consider this one finished in a week or so. Once completed it will be mounted on a wall panel and hang in our guest washroom.
A couple of days ago I started another hot air balloon painting. Luckily this one is smaller (18" X 24") and has only 5 balloons. This means that I'll have it completed in less than 3 weeks.
