Give the gift of art

Are you aware that supporting local artists contributes to the success of the community within which that business lives and breathes.  Supporting and recognizing local art as a business in itself, sustains art and the artist.

One-of-a-kind art has never been easier to purchase. You can purchase your favorite artists’ artwork or training online.  Many artists have improved their websites or set up online stores that facilitate the direct purchase of art. Support small businesses like small galleries in tandem with local artists.

Another way to support a local artist is to promote them on social media. Sharing your favorite artists’ artwork or classes is a great way to show your support.  A testimonial can go a long way for any small business owner, so drop a personal endorsement on social media to help support their creative endeavors. Many artists and local businesses are heavily impacted by online reviews—show your support by giving them 5-stars. A detailed, kind message of why you love their business can be transformative for an up-and-coming artist.

Art is joy and will bring a smile to someone else’s face when you give the gift of art.
