Some artists choose their next topic to paint after they finish a painting. In these cases some have challenges in coming up with a topic or a photo to paint.
I my case, I tend to have subjects (in the form of pictures) lined up weeks, and sometimes months ahead of time. My problem is not a lack of ideas, it's one of a lack of free time.
A number of months ago, as I was going though my photos, I came across one of old roller blades I had taken just over a year ago. At that time, the colours attracted me and the fact that I hadn't seen one of these in ages.
Here is the watercolour of those red roller blades.
